The Never Ending Ply

Crap, that's what I should have named the yarn! "Sea Waves" sounds silly by comparison. Anyways, what happens when you spin 4 ounces of nyah...



and 4 ounces of nyeh...




and ply together? You get a monster.



Merino/Tencel + Merino/Bamboo, 8 ounces, over 1000 yards of light fingering weight demon-ply. I plyed this for the entirety of Yarn School. I had to remove the flyer head and bobbins all threaded together on Saturday just so that I could do ANYTHING else. They sat in a tangled mess on the gym floor where I sort of put them far out of my mind while I learned chain plying and all sorts of neato tricks! Anyways, here's a glaring detail shot to see all the over-ply and crazy light weight yarny-ness.
